Dr. Britto’s patient care philosophy is focused on a family-centered approach. She believes that caring for an ill child requires collaboration between patients, their families and the provider. She strives to educate families so that they will have the tools needed to actively participate in the decision making process. She believes that effective communication is especially important to the success of each patient’s outcome.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Britto is a community gastroenterologist who cares for children in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She cares for children with a wide range of acute and chronic gastrointestinal or nutritional disorders. She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic esophagitis.
