Personal Statement
Dr. Siddiqui specializes in caring for pediatric patients from infancy to adolescence with a wide variety of renal disorders including obstructive uropathies, hypertension, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, dialysis and transplant. Her philosophy of care is based on putting patients first, working together with families and subspecialists to construct treatment plans for children with chronic kidney disease and transitioning them towards renal transplantation. Her research interest is in nephrotic syndrome, chronic kidney disease and its comorbidities. She also has interest in advocacy and health policy for children with kidney disease.
