Get to know Ryan L. Freedman, MD
Dr. Freedman is a board-certified Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmologist And Strabismologist who specializes in the care of children with eye diseases and adults with strabismus. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. During his medical training, he received multiple awards, including the Junior Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor and the Hanna Obertynski MD Research Award. Dr. Freedman has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and provides both medical and surgical care for all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.
Personal Statement
My goal as a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismologist is to provide compassionate, personalized care for each patient. I strive to create a comfortable environment where patients feel heard and supported, and I work closely with families to develop treatment plans that are both effective and practical. I believe in combining the latest medical and surgical approaches with clear communication to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes for their vision and eye health.
