Dr. Ricardo Arbizu is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition within the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and a Gastroenterologist at Texas Children’s Hospital. He is also a member of the Neurogastroenterology and Motility Program where he cares for children and adolescents with gastrointestinal motility disorders.
As a clinician, he places patients and their families at the center of every medical decision, with the ultimate goal of helping children return to their normal activities. His approach to patient care emphasizes delivering the highest quality treatment by combining evidence-based practices, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts, and integrating his skills, experience, and clinical judgment with the latest advancements in medical research.
