Get to know Rebecca J. Lopez, MS, LPC, LMFT
Rebecca Lopez is a Behavioral Health Clinician who is currently part of Texas Children's Hospital's Trauma and Resilience Team as well as the Mobile Health Behavioral Unit Team. In 2022, she also served as a team member for the Texas Children's Hospital Uvalde Program and traveled to provide therapy to the Uvalde community. In her work, she utilizes evidence-based practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as tools from her training in family theory to support and meet the needs of each of her patients and families. In her practice, she also works with patients and families experiencing grief and loss.
Personal Statement
I am wholeheartedly dedicated to providing my patients and their families with a unique and holistic approach in therapy to support their needs. I believe mental health is an integral part of health care and patients deserve to receive high-quality therapy. In my practice, I work with the patients, continuously collaborating and engaging with caregivers and families to ensure personalized and intentional care is provided to reach their therapeutic goals.
