Dr Joshi is a dual-trained Intensivist in both pediatric and adult critical care with over 20 years of clinical experience. He is widely regarded for his expertise in adult congenital heart disease and obstetric intensive care, and he has a sustained track record of delivering high-acuity, multidisciplinary care across the lifespan. His career has been marked by a commitment to clinical excellence, collaborative practice and the integration of specialized care into broader critical care systems. In Texas Children’s Hospital, he continues to contribute to the advancement of critical care through clinical leadership, mentorship and academic collaboration.
Personal Statement
I am a dual-trained intensivist in pediatric and adult critical care with over two decades of experience in managing complex, high-acuity patients. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a deep commitment to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care that bridges disciplines and age groups. My particular areas of interest – adult congenital heart disease and obstetric intensive care – have allowed me to focus on populations that require nuanced, multidisciplinary approaches.
Having worked alongside exceptional colleagues around the world, I am now honored to be part of the team at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. I remain passionate about clinical excellence, collaborative practice and contributing to the academic community through teaching, mentorship and the ongoing evolution of critical care delivery.
