Personal Statement
As a pediatric rheumatologist, I am honored to care for some of the most resilient children and families. Rheumatic diseases often present as complex and multisystem illnesses which brings diverse clinical challenges. This calls for a collaborative nature among all members of the care team, which most importantly includes the patients and families. This gratifying field allows me to support children through severe illness in the hospital and to develop a relationship with patients and families in the clinic. I strive to provide compassionate care in partnership with patients and their families.
