Personal Statement
As an athletic trainer, I have the opportunity to get to know my patients both on and off the field/court. Building meaningful relationships and establishing trust are at the heart of providing quality care. I believe in treating each patient as a person first, recognizing that they are more than just their sport.
Prior to joining the Texas Children’s team, I served as an assistant athletic trainer at Kingwood Park High School. I also worked as a resident athletic trainer at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I provided care for cheer and men’s tennis, and as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Lamar University, working with track and cross-country
athletes.
