Get to know Nichole R. Davis, MD, MEd
Dr. Nichole Davis (formerly Nichole R. Gubbins) completed her medical degree at the University of Kansas. She went on to complete her pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri where she was the recipient of the Doc Was Award and the Jane F. Knapp Award for excellence in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She has completed both her Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Global Health fellowships at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. As a recipient of the Department of Pediatrics Sub-Specialty Fellow Advanced Degree Scholarship, she completed her master’s in education with a focus on curriculum and instruction.
She currently serves as co-director for the curriculum series, Foundations in Global Health. She has also worked in direct patient care and curriculum development all over the world including Malawi, Belize, Laos & Cambodia.
She currently serves as the Associate Director for Emergency Management within the section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and as co-director for the Pediatric Disaster Preparedness elective at Texas Children’s Hospital.
