Personal Statement
McKenna Powers-Garcia, MPAS, PA-C is a physician assistant for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital. McKenna is committed to providing compassionate and empathetic patient care and support to families with an emphasis on quality of care and patient education. In addition to managing general orthopedic conditions, her main areas of interest and expertise are in cerebral palsy, spina bifida, lower extremity deformities, gait disturbances and fracture management. She also enjoys being a part of Texas Children's Multi-Disciplinary Limb Difference and Spasticity teams, who provide care to patients with limb differences and various neuromuscular disorders. McKenna considers it a privilege to be trusted with the care of each of her patients and strives to help each feel valued and respected.
