Personal Statement
Dr. Matthew McEvoy completed his pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training in 2021. He then completed additional fellowship training in pediatric solid tumors (2022) and pediatric palliative care (2023).
As clinical faculty, he is dual-appointed to two divisions: (1) Hematology-Oncology, where he is a member of the Solid Tumor and Developmental Therapeutics teams, and (2) Palliative Care, where he is an attending provider on the inpatient consultation service.
Outside of Texas Children's Hospital, he has extensive experience as a counselor, advisor, and medical staff for several summer camps that benefit children affected by cancer
