Personal Statement
I believe the most effective health care happens when providers and families work together through open communication and shared decision-making. Each child and family has unique needs, and I strive to ensure they feel heard, respected and empowered in every step of their care. By integrating evidence-based practices with a patient-centered approach, my goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized treatment that promotes both healing and long-term wellness.
My path in health care has also been shaped by my service as a proud Army veteran. The military instilled in me the values of dedication, resilience and teamwork principles that guide my approach to patient care and collaboration with colleagues. I carry those lessons with me every day as I advocate for the children and families entrusted to my care.
Outside of my professional life, I value time with my family and my children. We enjoy traveling together and creating meaningful experiences that allow us to explore new places and cultures. I also enjoy creative hobbies such as crocheting dishcloths and finger knitting blankets and pillows. These simple, hands-on activities provide a sense of balance and remind me of the importance of patience, care and attention to details that are just as meaningful in healthcare as they are in everyday life.
