Lisnel Rosario Gonzalez is a bilingual Behavioral Health Clinician who specializes in psychosocial assessments, diagnosis and treatment of children with anxiety, depression and disruptive behaviors. She uses evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to help youth identify and modify maladaptive thoughts and behaviors, increase self-regulation and distress tolerance. A native Spanish speaker, she offers individualized and goal-centered care to children and their families in English and Spanish.
Personal Statement
I am a highly motivated and charismatic clinician who is deeply committed to offering mental health services to diverse communities. I believe in the power of education and strive to share information on evidenced-based care to my patients and their families. Originally, from Puerto Rico, I love sharing my cultural background and experiences with my patients. My goal is to provide individualized and collaborative care and to make mental health treatment accessible to children and their families.
