Personal Statement
Lisa Stringer, MS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She is involved with the care of scoliosis and spine patients during all aspects of their treatment, from initial and follow up clinic visits, to first assisting in the operating room and providing care in the inpatient setting postoperatively. After graduating at the top of her class from Baylor College of Medicine’s PA program in 2009, she gained further experience in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine before joining the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in 2011. She has a passion for patient education and assisting families with the management of scoliosis and other spine conditions throughout the treatment process. She maintains an active Texas PA license through the Texas Medical Board/Texas Physician Assistant Board (TMB/TPAB), as well as national certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
