Dr. Lisa Ayoub-Rodriguez is a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Texas Children's Hospital, where she provides care at the Texas Medical Center. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, family-centered care and fostering strong communication and collaboration among patients, families, and interprofessional healthcare teams.
Dr. Ayoub-Rodriguez has a particular passion for advancing pediatric mental and behavioral health. Her clinical and leadership efforts focus on improving the care of children and adolescents with behavioral health needs through system-wide collaboration, quality improvement, and the development of innovative models of care that enhance outcomes for patients and families.
Personal Statement
I believe the best pediatric care begins with listening—to my patients, their families, and every member of the health care team. My goal is to provide evidence-based, family-centered care that is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each child's unique needs. I am especially passionate about improving mental and behavioral health care for children and adolescents, and I strive to build systems of care that better support patients, families, and providers alike.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, exploring new places, creating art, and finding opportunities to build community. These experiences remind me of the importance of connection, empathy, and seeing the whole person—values that guide my approach to caring for every patient and family.
