Get to know Lindsey Sand, LCSW
Lindsey Sand is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in assessing and treating children and adolescents with a variety of mental health needs, particularly anxiety, depression, adjustment and ADHD. She has expertise through working in a variety of settings, from a psychiatric hospital and in child welfare. She utilizes evidenced-based practices, such as DBT and CBT, while viewing each patient through the lens of their unique background. She has experience in facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions. She also has experience in utilizing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to help patients process and adjust to difficult life and family experiences.
Personal Statement
My therapeutic approach is to build a trusting and positive relationship with patients and their families. I strive to help patients gain self-empowerment and build a growth mindset, using the highest quality of care. I work collaboratively with patients in their journey to build healthy coping tools to help manage life's stressors, as well as build positive relationships with others. I utilize my own interest in health and wellness to have a holistic approach with patients in addressing mental health and behavioral needs. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to concerts, being in nature and spending time with my husband.
