Personal Statement
I am dedicated to educating patients about reproductive risk factors and assisting them in the decision-making process for the genetic testing that is most appropriate in their clinical care. My areas of specialization are preconception and prenatal genetics, as well as cytogenetic laboratory techniques and genetics education. I strive to support patients as they learn about a genetic diagnosis for their family and the implications for an ongoing pregnancy and/or future reproductive risks.
Clinical Interests: prenatal genetic counseling, preconception/prenatal genetic testing and screening, genetic education
Research Interests: prenatal genetic testing, gene curation for intellectual disability and autism genes
