Get to know Kristina P. Marsack, MS, PA-C
Kris Marsack, MS, PA-C received her undergraduate degree in anthropology from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Science degree in biology from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine. She began her surgical career as a plastic surgery physician assistant in 2005 with Baylor College of Medicine at Ben Taub General Hospital with a focus on trauma and cancer reconstruction. She transitioned to the Pediatric Plastic Surgery team at Texas Children's Hospital in 2016 and has expanded her interests to caring for plastic surgery conditions in the pediatric population. In addition to treating and caring for patients with general plastic surgery needs, including facial, hand and vascular anomalies, she is the Director of the Department of Surgery Advanced Practice Providers and the Academic Director for the ARC-PA accredited PA Surgical, Orthopedic and Community Fellowships at Texas Children’s.
Kris is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and medically licensed through the Texas Medical Board. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants (APSPA), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Texas Gulf Coast PAs (TGCPA) and the Society of PAs in Pediatrics (SPAP). She currently serves as the AAPA Medical Liaison to the ASPS and is a Director at Large for APSPA.
