Personal Statement
Neuropsychological assessment is my passion! With almost 40 years of experience testing children, adolescents and young adults, I have worked with people of all developmental levels, many medical conditions and a wide range of neurodevelopmental differences. I work diligently to motivate every one of my patients so they give their best performance possible that day. I try to make the testing session a positive experience for each patient I see – at least in some way – despite the hard work required. I find that a positive attitude, an encouraging approach, and some laughter can go a long way toward accomplishing that goal. I believe that everyone can be tested, and my job is to unlock each person’s true abilities. Outside of Texas Children’s, I love movies, all things Marvel and Star Wars, family vacations in the mountains with my family, and dogs.
