Kim N. Nguyen, MBA

Personal Statement

Kim Nguyen has been with Texas Children's Hospital for over 20 years with 6 years in patient care as a respiratory therapist and over 14 years of experience in administration. In her role, she has worked with physician and senior administrative leaders to increase the number of faculty and staff in each division, expand sites of service throughout the Houston and Austin areas, and implementation of specialty programs for each service. Some of the programs that took off during Kim’s time in her administrative role include evening clinic hours for A&I and Rheumatology, centralization of Allergy Immunotherapy mixing, and Educational sessions for faculty and families that includes, the William T. Shearer annual symposium and Lupus Educational program to community providers. Kim obtained her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Houston Clear Lake Campus.
