Keisha R. Barton, MD

Dr. Barton’s patient care philosophy is centered on education. She believes that a patient and their family’s understanding of a diagnosis is an important step in the treatment process. She enjoys teaching medical concepts to families in ways that are clearly and easily understandable. She delights in developing therapeutic relationships with families, advocating for and empowering the children she cares for. A family-centered approach of care is especially important in pediatric patients with chronic medical illnesses.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Barton cares for children with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions including failure to thrive, gastroesophageal reflux, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and has a particular interest in eosinophilic esophagitis.
