Julia Simpson is a Certified Physician Assistant that provides care to pediatric patients admitted to the Oncology and Hematology Inpatient Services at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center. Julia is excited to begin her career working in this field, as she has always been passionate about pursuing a career in Pediatric Oncology/Hematology.
Julia completed her PA training in Louisiana where she was able to participate in clinical rotations in a variety of fields. She was selected to participate in a scholarship opportunity by the Louisiana Department of Health to complete a rotation in a rural/medically underserved area. Through her training, she developed a passion for providing equal and quality care to all patients.
She is excited to work at an institution that allows her to provide such care and utilize a multi-disciplinary approach when treating patients, therefore being able to provide all members of the team, patients, and families with a collaborative and thorough approach to care.
