Personal Statement
I am excited to return to Texas Children’s Hospital to join its dynamic and diverse work environment. I am drawn to emergency medicine because of the ever changing challenge it presents and the opportunity to have direct, meaningful encounters with patients and families. I strive to provide up to date and evidence based care while at the same time including families in the decision making processes whenever possible. My current research studies the management of specific pediatric arrhythmias in the emergency department. It is unclear how this research will segway into the next phase of my career but I am excited for the challenge and can think of no better place to face that challenge than at Texas Children's Hospital.
