Personal Statement
My philosophy of care is every patient is different and so is their plan of care. What works for one patient might not work for another patient so you always need to be flexible with what each patient needs. I believe having open communication between the patient, parents and provider is also a key part of having a successful outcome for the patient.
Prior to working at Texas Children's Hospital I spent 12 years working in a private orthopedic office focusing on rehabilitation of surgical and non-surgical patients. My experience also includes 10 years in the secondary setting as an athletic trainer and educator.
