Get to know Jennifer M. Bump, MD
Dr. Bump is an assistant professor in Baylor College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She went on to complete her medical training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX while concurrently studying health organizational management at the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Bump is honored to be able to provide care for women at some of the most pivotal times in their lives - entering womanhood, discovery of their own sexuality, changes of pregnancy and motherhood, aging and menopause. She recognizes and is humbled by the trust that is imparted to her by her patients and is dedicated to providing compassionate care that empowers her patients to make informed decisions regarding their health.
Dr. Bump is also passionate about teaching medical students and residents. She believes that this is the best way to ensure continued excellent care for her patients and their children into the future. Her role as a professor demands that she be current with the most evidence-based treatment for obstetric and gynecologic complaints and makes her a better provider to her patients.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Bump interests include pregnancy care, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, contraception, health quality management, and health policy.
