Janique joined the Neurosurgery Program at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2023, bringing over 20 years of specialized nursing experience in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Neonatal Critical Care Transport, and as a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Cardiology. She also serves as an Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Alongside her work in neurosurgery, Janique continues her commitment to inpatient pediatric cardiology at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Janique has a particular interest in traumatic brain injury and neurocritical care, but she finds all aspects of Pediatric Neurosurgery captivating. She is dedicated to a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care, working closely with families to enhance the quality of care and achieve the best possible outcomes for each child. Janique’s commitment aligns deeply with the Texas Children’s mission of creating a healthy future for children in our community.
