Janea Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children and families, specializing in bipolar and severe emotional disturbances. Using evidence-based practices she assists patients and their families in identifying and establishing an effective treatment approach that meets the individual needs as well as the needs of the family unit.
Janea is currently working on her MBA in Healthcare Administration which she expects to complete in 2025.
Personal Statement
My counseling perspective is rooted in Cognitive Behavior Theory. Additionally, I integrate a variety of modalities, as I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all therapy model. I bring a deeply compassionate, knowledgeable and calming experience to the therapeutic process, along with a splash of humor. I am committed to destigmatizing mental health within communities and driving change in the health care sector.
