Get to know Ife O. Fagbemi, MD
Dr. Ife Fagbemi is a Molecular Genetic Pathologist specializing in the use of genomic and molecular testing to diagnose and characterize cancer and other diseases. Her clinical interests include next-generation sequencing and other molecular technologies used in the evaluation of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. She is particularly interested in integrating molecular findings with pathology to improve diagnostic accuracy and support personalized patient care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Fagbemi is actively involved in medical education, research, quality improvement and the advancement of molecular diagnostic testing.
Personal Statement
I am committed to providing accurate, thoughtful and clinically meaningful molecular diagnoses that help guide patient care. I believe the best diagnostic care comes from integrating each patient’s clinical history, pathology and molecular findings while working collaboratively with pathologists, oncologists, geneticists and other members of the care team. I also value education, continuous learning and innovation and hope to contribute to improving molecular testing and expanding the role of precision medicine in patient care.
