Dr. Dickerson's clinical interest is in pediatric cardiac critical care and postoperative cardiac care. Her research interests center on improving the care of critically ill patients with congenital heart disease. Specific research interests that she is pursuing include therapeutic options in the perioperative care of patients including stress dose steroids. She has also has a special interest in the care of patients with Heterotaxy syndrome and single ventricle cardiac lesions and ways to improve their outcomes.
