Research interests
Dr Sampayo is a content expert in qualitative methodology and has been invited to contribute in areas outside of her niche by performing qualitative analysis in simulation, hospital medicine, global health and emergency medical services research which has led to multiple publications. She considers herself an advocate for diversity as chair of the mentorship committee in the diversity council and an educational leader in Pediatric Emergency Medicine as Associate Division Chief of Education. She looks forward to continued growth, national exposure and success in the areas of asthma, qualitative research, diversity and education.
