Get to know Emy M. Kuriakose, MD
Dr. Kuriakose grew up in New York and went to Stony Brook University, where she studied Anthropology and also earned her medical degree. She completed her residency and fellowship training at New York University and went on to pursue an advanced fellowship year for cardiac imaging at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She has a special interest in 3D echocardiography, customized 3D printing for pre-surgical planning in complex heart disease, 4D Cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. She previously worked in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she served as Section Chief of Cardiac Imaging at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. She now brings her advance cardiac imaging expertise to the Woodlands, to further Texas Children’s Hospital’s goal of providing the most comprehensive and accessible cardiac care for pediatric and adult congenital patients throughout Texas. Having worked with so many communities throughout the country and abroad, Dr. Kuriakose understands that each family has its own unique needs, struggles and goals. She strives to provide individualized, personal care, as she truly believes that the best outcomes can be achieved through strong partnerships, transparency and passionate advocacy for her patients and their families.
