Get to know Emily M. Bland, MS, CGC
Emily is a pediatric genetic counselor who sees patients in the outpatient genetics clinic at Texas Children's Hospital, as well as for the inpatient genetics consultation service. She also assists in the Metabolic Genetics Clinic, as she has particular interest in inborn errors of metabolism. She provides clinical evaluations, genetic test coordination, results interpretation and psychosocial counseling. Emily is passionate about providing genetic counseling services to the pediatric genetics population, for whom genetic testing and results can affect the patients themselves, their parents and extended family members.
