Dr. McDaniel is a Neonatologist who is certified with the American Board of Pediatrics in both Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and General Pediatrics. She utilizes evidence-based practices to direct clinical management of sick and well newborns. She has expertise in medical education, team-based communication and quality improvement with a focus on reducing health care disparities.
Personal Statement
I have the honor, privilege and responsibility to care for patients and families during their most difficult life moments. As a Neonatologist, I actively engage team members including parents and hospital staff to create optimal, individualized and evidence-based treatment plans. Communication and collaboration are the utmost priorities in NICU care. I strive to epitomize the core values of Texas Children's Hospital, which include humility, excellence, accountability, respect and trust.
