Personal Statement
Dan Gombos, MD, is a clinical co-director for the Retinoblastoma Center of Houston. While serving as the ocular oncologist for the Children’s Cancer Hospital at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Gombos also oversees the surgical needs of all retinoblastoma patients through the Retinoblastoma Center of Houston (rbhouston.org), in collaboration with Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Centers and Houston Methodist Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
