Cecilia Acuna Smith joined the Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Program at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands in November 2019. Ceci has a strong belief in creating individualized treatment plans for each patient that will promote overall health and help them return to the activities or sports that they enjoy. As a Level 2 BSPTS–Concepts by Rigo certified therapist, Ceci specializes in the treatment of scoliosis and spinal injury.
* Schroth Therapy:
*C1 and L1 certified therapists are able to treat idiopathic adolescent scoliosis
*C2 certified therapists are able to treat idiopathic adolescent scoliosis, post-surgical patients, adult scoliosis, and treat with group sessions
Clinical Interests
Prevention and management of lower extremity and spine injuries. Particularly interested in scoliosis and postural training.
