Get to know Cecile Karsenty, MD
Dr. Cecile Karsenty completed her pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training in 2023. Prior to joining Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center, she completed her medical training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and her Pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in New York.
Dr. Karsenty's interest in pediatric hematology-oncology began in medical school where she had the privilege of working with many patients and their families. As a pediatric resident, she participated in several clinical research projects in benign hematology, particularly sickle cell disease and thrombosis.
Dr. Karsenty continued to gain further expertise treating patients with hematological diseases during her subspecialty training in pediatric hematology-oncology.
