Dr. Varela Chinchilla earned his medical degree from the Tecnológico de Monterrey School of Medicine in Mexico. He completed his pediatrics residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and subsequently served as Pediatric Chief Resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics. Dr. Varela Chinchilla is most interested in providing quality care to under-served populations, especially Spanish-speaking families.
