Personal Statement
Bryan Stoker, MPAS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant with the Surgical Hospitalist team at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus. After receiving his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in 2017, he was accepted into Texas Children’s pediatric surgery fellowship for Physician Assistants. There, he spent a year gaining extensive clinical and operating room experience in all of the pediatric surgery subspecialties. He then joined the West Campus Surgical Hospitalist team where he helps provide patient care in the emergency center, operating room, and inpatient settings.
Bryan uses his broad experience across all the surgical subspecialties to be an asset as part of the team-based patient care model. Having built relationships with the majority of surgeons, EC physicians, pediatricians, nurses, OR staff, and many more; he is able to bridge the gap between different providers and be a crucial part of multidisciplinary care.
Clinical Interests:
Bryan enjoys using his technical skills to perform bedside procedures as well as first assisting in the operating room. He is also passionate about being part of the trauma team that evaluates and treats high acuity patients in the EC. While he does feel a certain affinity towards the more fast paced and critical settings, he also enjoys being able to take part in nearly all facets of patient care and provide medical education to his patients and families.
