Get to know Britney Alford, PsyD
Dr. Britney Alford is a licensed clinical psychologist working within the primary care Psychology program. Dr. Alford is licensed in Texas and Nevada, and under the authority of PSYPACT is authorized to practice telepsychology across 42 states.
Dr. Alford has practiced within an array of clinical settings and obtained an immense amount of experience working with diverse populations and presenting problems. Thus far, her favorite clinical setting is primary care. Dr. Alford specializes in mood and behavioral disorders, family and relationship conflict, substance use disorders and minority-related stress.
Personal Statement
Through use of culturally sensitive and integrative approaches, I encourage patients to face their fears, embrace their discomfort and live their best lives. I thoroughly enjoy facilitating individual and family therapy, Parent Management Training and assessing neurodivergent disorders. Additionally, I have experience providing clinical training to practicum students, interns, fellows and residents. My passion for training and clinical care is demonstrated in my work with patients and trainees.
