Personal Statement
With a decade of experience as a pediatric audiologist, Ashton is skilled in identifying and treating a wide range of hearing disorders in infants, children and adolescents. She is adept in conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations, including behavioral tests and auditory brainstem response testing, to determine the type and severity of a patient’s hearing loss. She works closely with families to develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that may include traditional hearing aids, bone conduction devices or other assistive listening devices.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Ashton understands that hearing loss is challenging for young patients and their families, and she is committed to providing the most compassionate, family-centered care possible.
