Personal Statement
I am an experienced PA with over 10 years of practice, primarily dedicated to caring for pediatric and adult congenital heart surgery patients at Texas Children's Hospital. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for patients with congenital heart disease across their lifespan and supporting families through complex surgical experiences. This work has fostered a deep appreciation for the resilience of patients and families navigating lifelong cardiac conditions.
It is my mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care while serving as a trusted advocate for patients and their families. My experience in a highly specialized surgical environment has strengthened my clinical judgement, interdisciplinary collaboration and commitment to excellence. As both a health care professional and a mother, I value clear communication, empathy and family-centered care, striving to provide exceptional support and achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient.

Research interests
Post-operative thrombus and infection prophylaxis
I am interested in congenital heart disease as a whole, and have a special interest in treatment options for the adult congenital heart disease population. I also focus on improving family education and care coordination.
