Anna Blum, LCSW, is a Behavioral Health Clinician within the Psychology Division at Mark Wallace Tower in the Medical Center. She practices from an evidence-based, trauma informed, and family centered approach in her work with children and their families. Anna’s areas of specialty include working with children and adolescents with disruptive behaviors, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Anna uses evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and parent management training (PMT) in her work with this population.
Concurrently, Anna provides mental health support to adult participants of a research study addressing caregiver wellness and improving child development. Anna provides a series of brief-CBT sessions to qualifying caregivers of inpatient children at Texas Children's Hospital Medical Center and helps them establish long-term mental health care as needed.
