Get to know Angeline Opina Gonzalez, MD
Dr. Angeline Opina Gonzalez completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics prior to attending Baylor College of Medicine where she completed fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology followed by additional advanced training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. She enjoys teaching, and she is passionate about educating patients and families. Management of patients with complex congenital heart disease requires a team approach, and she believes that all patients should be involved in the decision-making process.
Clinical Interests
Her clinical interests include adult congenital heart disease, pre-conception cardiovascular risk assessment and counseling in patients with congenital heart disease, and maternal cardiovascular disease in pregnancy
