Angela I. Foyt is a Physician Assistant with the Surgical Hospitalist team at Texas Children’s Hospital at The Woodlands Campus. Angela entered Physician Assistant School after serving as a United States Air Force Officer for 6 years. Upon graduation, she completed the Community Pediatric Surgery Physician Assistant Fellowship here at Texas Children’s Hospital. As a Surgical Hospitalist, she works closely with all members of the healthcare team to manage patients throughout their hospital stay across several surgical subspecialties. Her responsibilities include caring for patients in the pre and post-operative setting, first assisting in the OR, in addition to inpatient and emergency room consultations. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and medically licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
Clinical Interests
Angela’s clinical Interests include quality improvement, emergency room procedures, and educating patients and their families on surgical diagnoses and disease processes.
