Alexandra "Alex" Mendoza is a certified physician assistant and Associate Director of Advanced Practice Providers for the Cell Therapy and Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center.
She has a passion for helping families through the stem cell transplant and cellular therapy process for treatment of a variety of oncologic, hematologic, immunologic, and metabolic disorders. She is devoted to evidence-based practice and strives to deliver the safest and most effective care to her patients and their families.
Alex serves as the clerkship director for physician assistant students and fellows rotating at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center. She is also involved in advanced practice provider student precepting and educational lectures.
