Get to know Adam J. Cantor, MD
Dr. Cantor completed his undergraduate degree in classical guitar performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. While studying music, he completed his requirements for application to medical school and graduated from the Indiana University School of Music. He completed his internship at St. Vincent Hospital followed by ophthalmology residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
As a resident, Dr. Cantor was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society and voted by the Indiana University Medical School Graduating Class of 2019 as the Resident Teacher of the Year across all specialties. He completed his fellowship in Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Texas Children’s Hospital at the Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Cantor manages all clinical aspects of pediatric ophthalmology as well as adult strabismus. He has focused most of his research on cataracts, glaucoma, and trauma in pediatric patients.
