Paul K. Minifee, MD
Dr. Paul K. Minifee MD, FAAP, FACS is the Chief Surgery Officer and Trauma Medical Director for Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus. In addition to trauma, Dr. Minifee has nearly 30 years expertise in the clinical practice of pediatric surgery at Texas Children's Hospital. He is Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. He is accomplished in open and videoscopic surgery of the abdomen and chest. He has extensive experience in treatment of childhood skin disorders. Dr. Minifee is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association and American College of Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Minifee is also residency trained in pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Minifee's primary focus is on the clinical practice of pediatric surgery in an educational setting and he delivers surgical care at Texas Children's Hospital in the medical center. Dr. Minifee has a commitment to education and combines education and technology as he mentors Baylor College of Medicine residents and medical students on clinical rotations in pediatric surgery.
Dr. Minifee is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Minifee is also residency trained in pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
