Programs and Services

The Division of Anatomic Pathology is comprised of a team of board-certified pathologists with combined expertise in all aspects of pediatric surgical pathology with specialists in bone and soft tissue, cardiac/congenital heart, central nervous system/nerve/muscle, dermatopathology, electron microscopy, gastrointestinal/liver, lymph node, placenta, and renal pathology. We also offer expertise in pediatric, adolescent, and adult gynecologic pathology.

The Division of Transfusion Medicine & Coagulation launched in 2009. It was to establish a center in TCH Pathology Department that integrates the disciplines of transfusion medicine and coagulation, proactively monitors transfusion therapies, and provides active consultation to clinical services.

The Division of Genomic Medicine services include genetic and genomic testing of cancer, as well as inherited conditions.

Laboratory Medicine is a medical specialty that is concerned with the diagnosis of disease based on the laboratory analysis of blood, cerebrospinal fluid, urine and other body fluids, as well as tissue, using the tools of chemistry, microbiology, hematology and molecular pathology.
