22nd Annual Research Symposium Highlights Advances in Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders

The 22nd Annual Research Symposium brought together clinicians, researchers and trainees to share discoveries that are advancing care for children with cancer and serious blood disorders. The event continues to serve as an important forum for connecting scientific innovation with real-world improvements in patient outcomes.

Keynote presentations from Heather Symons, MD, MHS, and Robert Sidonio Jr., MD, MSC highlighted advances in blood and marrow transplantation and innovative approaches to hemophilia care. Their presentations demonstrated how scientific discovery continues to drive progress in patient care.

Throughout the symposium, researchers presented findings spanning pediatric oncology, hematology, transplantation, cellular therapies and other areas focused on improving outcomes for children and families. More than 45 poster presentations showcased the breadth of research underway across the Center and created opportunities for faculty and trainees to exchange ideas and strengthen collaborations that can advance care.
