Symposium aims to advance Ewing sarcoma research collaborations

The Faris D. Virani Ewing Sarcoma Center at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Centers hosted the Inaugural Ewing Sarcoma Symposium on the 23rd and 24th of April 2015.

The center hosted 14 leading experts and scientists from across the United States and Europe during the two-day event which was aimed at focused and collaborative efforts to advance the field of Ewing sarcoma research. Generously underwritten by Dr. Asha and Mr. Farid Virani, this was a unique opportunity to engage in scientific thought leadership drew researchers from around the globe to Houston.

The Ewing Sarcoma Center at Texas Children’s Cancer Center is dedicated to performing state-of-the-art basic, translational and clinical research in order to provide transformative and effective treatment approaches for the care and management of all patients diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma.
